Memories from Travel is no longer. Now presenting Gare de Vector3 featuring four environments for you to explore. I finally learned the basics of blender so 3D assets are much more robust. As well discovered the power of sin waves with respect to making assets move naturally. 

Artist Statement -> 

Gare de Vector3 is a series of environments built from fragments of captured experience in the form of photos drawings and paintings to evoke a memory personal to Palczewski.  Elements are arranged to form architectural space where viewers traverse and explore, a central theme of Palczewski’s real experience backpacking through France.  However, Gare de Vector3 is not intended to capture reality, instead it renders memories by targeting specific feelings and motifs. The work explores how collaging media specific to an experience can construct 3D space that provokes a recollection in the viewer.
